Fertility drugs are prescribed medications that will mostly help to influence the ovulation process. It can either help to start the ovulation process or help to strengthen the ovulation cycle to release at least one or more eggs within the cycle. Fertility drugs are the most commonly used treatment for couples who are facing infertility issues. The most common cause of infertility within women are ovulation difficulties.
Typically, it is usually the woman who are being prescribed the fertility medications, however, fertility drugs can be used for men who suffer with fertility issues as well, but this is not as common.
There are basic types of medications that are used to induce the ovulation process which include:
Clomid, Tamoxifen, Femara, Injectable gonadotropins, Injectable FSH hormone products.

Chorionic Gonadotrophin (HCG) is a hormonal substance obtained from urine of pregnant women. Its action is predominantly luteinizing.
HCG stimulates the release of eggs (ovulation) in women having treatment for infertility caused by problems with their natural ovulation.
HCG injection is used to stimulate follicules to mature and ovulation to occur in women who are having difficulties getting pregnant due to problems with their natural ovulation.
hCG hormone helps with low sperm count (oligospermia) treatment in men.
Human Chorionic Gonadotrophin helps with delayed puberty in boys when boys do not develop secondary sexual characteristics at the normal age (12 – 14 years old) and with testicles which have not dropped in boys.
