Aromex
Aromex tablets (Generic Aromasin) containing the medication Exemestane and act as steroidal inhibitors of the enzyme aromatase, which controls the conversion of Testosterone to Oestrogen and Androstenedione to Estradiol. Both Aromex and Aromasin are generic versions of the medication Exemestane. This is a widely used medication within the treatment of IVF (In-Vitro Fertilisation). IVF is used with the new medical technology and medicines so that people suffering from infertility issues can have the chance to overcome these issues and achieve the chance of becoming pregnant.
Although studies have shown that the first port of call within the treatment of infertility is with the medication Clomiphene. Recent studies have found that aromatase inhibitors (Exemestane) may be safe and useful agents for the ovulation induction in patients with polycystic ovarian syndrome as well as a treatment option for superovulation in patients with either unexplained infertility issues or endometriosis. This study has shown that for these types of patients, it may be safer to use Aromex or Aromasin instead of the more favoured Clomiphene.
If you know your reasons for your infertility and do not fall into this category, it may be best to try Clomiphene first, but if you do not achieve the desired goal or have any adverse effects to Clomiphene, you can change your medication to this safer and more individualised medication, Exemestane.
