Fertility drugs are prescribed medications that will mostly help to influence the ovulation process. It can either help to start the ovulation process or help to strengthen the ovulation cycle to release at least one or more eggs within the cycle. Fertility drugs are the most commonly used treatment for couples who are facing infertility issues. The most common cause of infertility within women are ovulation difficulties.
Typically, it is usually the woman who are being prescribed the fertility medications, however, fertility drugs can be used for men who suffer with fertility issues as well, but this is not as common.

There are basic types of medications that are used to induce the ovulation process which include:
Clomid, Tamoxifen, Femara, Injectable gonadotropins, Injectable FSH hormone products.

Treatment with these drugs, have the potential to result in achieved pregnancy, on the conditions that the female still carries good quality eggs within her ovaries and if other causes of infertility are not present.
